CEO, a U.S. Army veteran, wants to help fellow veterans own their own business after service to the country.

BOSTON, Mass. (July 28, 2015) – UFood Grill, the award-winning fast-casual franchise where “delicious meets nutritious,” today announced that the company has partnered with VetFran, a program that helps U.S. Military veterans locate franchise opportunities and provides a path towards business ownership with training, mentoring and financial assistance.

As a member of VetFran, UFood Grill will now offer veterans a 50 percent discount on its current franchise fee, reducing it to $17,500, to help veterans own and operate a UFood Grill restaurant.

The announcement marks a special milestone for UFood Grill CEO Sal Rincione who was a counter intelligence officer in the U.S. Army 15 years ago. After serving with the 101st Infantry Division and the 2nd Infantry Division, Rincione entered the private sector where he has enjoyed a successful career as a franchise executive with several national and international restaurant chains.

Now as CEO of UFood Grill, Rincione is looking to VetFran to help fellow veterans find similar success as part of his organization.

“VetFran will allow UFood Grill to connect with eligible franchisees who, I know from my own personal experience, have received the best training in America to follow a proven system,” said Rincione. “The decision-making skills, leadership abilities and ethics of our U.S. Military veterans are the same traits that are needed to become successful UFood Grill franchise owners.”

The demand for career opportunities continues to grow as tens of thousands of military men and women return from deployments, are discharged from the military and transition to civilian life. UFood Grill wants to help with that transition.

UFood Grill is currently seeking qualified franchisees across the country. Veterans interested in learning more about UFood Grill can visit www.ufoodgrill.com/own-a-grill/.
