  • Salvatore Rincione - CEO, UFood Grill

    Salvatore Rincione

    CEO

    Sal has over 18 years of experience in the franchise industry, specifically in multi-unit restaurant operations, new concept development, store design, construction management and real estate selection. Before joining the UFood Grill family, Sal previously served as the Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Real Estate and Construction for Red Mango USA where he helped the franchise open a total of 400 stores in just seven years.

  • Irma Norton

    CFO

    Irma Norton is an operations-oriented financial professional with over 15 years of experience with businesses ranging from start-ups to large multinational companies. Prior to joining UFood Grill, Irma served as Controller for Handmade Bow Company and the CFO for Dunkin’ Donuts Mexico where she grew the franchise from zero to 100 stores.

  • Walter Pomerleau

    Vice President of Real Estate and Construction

    Walter Pomerleau has been in the restaurant industry for the past 25 years. Before joining UFood Grill, Walter held various positions within multi-unit operations management at Ground Round where he won numerous achievement awards. Walter oversees UFood Grill’s company and franchise locations, marketing, IT and restaurant design while also assisting with training and business development.

  • Samantha Rincione

    Vice President of Franchise Development

    Samantha Rincione is a franchise Industry expert with over 12 years of experience in franchising and brand development. Samantha previously was the largest multiple store franchisee with Red Mango Yogurt and Smoothies as well as Red Mango Cafe and Smoothie Factory with 10 locations. Samantha was directly responsible for assisting Red Mango corporation with over 200 successful Discovery Day meetings at her restaurants as well as utilizing her locations as corporate training stores, resulting in successful franchise sales. Samantha understands both the franchisor and franchisee side of the business.

  • Kathryn (Kat) Kaufman – Director of Operations and Training UFood Grill

    Director of Operations and Training

    Kat Kaufman is director of operations and training at UFood Grill. Before joing the team, she served in training and operations positions for award-winning brands Shake Shack and Red Mango. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Kat pledges to shape UFood Grill into the leader in optimal training and restaurant operations. She is a graduate of James Madison University.

  • Philip Kafka – Corporate Executive Chef, UFood Grill

    Philip Kafka

    Corporate Executive Chef

    Philip Kafka is the corporate executive chef at UFood Grill. Philip brings more than 20 years of culinary and restaurant experience to UFood Grill. He most recently served as the directory of culinary innovation for Cosi’ Brands, Inc. where he spearheaded development of culinary recipes, standard operating procedures, nutritional database management, brand strategy, product manufacturing development and more. Philip is a graduate of Le Cordon Blue, L’ART Culinaire in London, England, where he studied classical French culinary and pastry training. He also earned a degree in food and beverage management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I.
