What is the initial franchise fee?
The franchise fee is $35,000 per location. Area developers will need to pay half of the franchise fee up-front per each desired location; the balance of the franchise fees are due upon the opening of each store.

How much are the royalty fee and the national advertising fund contribution?
The royalty fee for UFood Grill is 5% of the weekly gross sales, exclusive of sales, service and use taxes. The national advertising fund contribution is initially 1.5% of weekly sales and can be increased to 2.5% per week.

What type of training do you provide?
UFood Grill offers all of our franchisees a comprehensive 5-week training program at the UFood Grill University. This program includes a mix of classroom, test kitchen, and live, hands-on store training for 3 people in your organization, one of whom must be your store manager. Our field training team will assist in the opening of each store.

Will I be offered an exclusive territory?
Each restaurant will have an exclusive territory, which will be negotiated prior to signing the Franchise Agreement. Each Area Developer will have a reserved area, identified by the specific markets and number of units to be developed.
